My name is Susan Neely, and I’m the mother of two little ones. As they grow into toddlerhood, I’ve decided to take it upon myself to help other struggling parents out there. As I’ve raised my little ones alone, I often found myself running to the Internet for answers, instead of seeking out the help of friends. I did this because I was scared and didn’t want to look bad, but realized that I was a new mom, and it was normal to feel this way. My helpful guides and articles were created with the intention to help others and ease their anxieties with common issues us new moms (or dads) may have.

In my spare time, when I get a moment to relax, I like to prepare cute little vegan treats for my little ones or pick up a good book. I also love repurposing old furniture and junk, and turning it into my treasures. Because of the “junk” I’ve found at various thrift stores and yard sales, I’ve been able to bring a world of eclectic design into not only our shared areas but into the children’s areas as well. Did I mention that I also love mint chocolate chip ice cream and HGTV shows?!

After transitioning from a working mom to a stay at home mom, I never thought blogging would be my ticket to self-employment and happiness. I always imagined blogging as a job for already famous vloggers or celebrities looking to transition into a quieter lifestyle. My life has taken a weird turn of events, but I wouldn’t change it for anything in the entire world. Kick off your shoes, turn on some good music, and take a gander at my world. Hopefully, you enjoy your stay and learn a thing or two!
